Original artwork description:

An acrylic still life painting using layers of acrylic glaze, acrylic paint and collage.
Layers are built up and rubbed back to pick out previous layers of colour and detail from collage.
Finished with a layer of varnish highlighting the depths of colour.
Inspired by a trip to Charles Rennie MacKintosh' s House for Art Lovers in Glasgow.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, acrylic medium glaze, charcoal , oil pastels, liquin varnish.
