A still life study from my studio table.
Using acrylic glaze medium and acrylic paint building up the layers and rubbing back to reveal previous layers of colour and texture.
The texture of the cloth is achieved by imprinting traditional lace into a gesso base.
Charcoal is added to highlight detail.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint, acrylic medium glaze, gesso, lace and charcoal.
