The painting is an abstract still life in mixed media on a 40x40cm canvas, which marks the start of a new series. The focus is on a bowl filled with fruit, which is partly indicated and partly worked out in more detail. The dominant colors are various shades of blue, which characterize the bowl and the background, complemented by warm color accents in red, yellow and brown. The textures are the result of thickly applied paint and collaged elements.
