In this painting, I aimed to capture the beauty of imperfections, impermanence, and simplicity. I like pre-owned objects and appreciate how they bear the traces of previous lives; their imperfections, cracks, and chips make them uniquely beautiful. When arranging objects for my still lifes, I allow them to interact with each other and their surrounding space, becoming an observer of their silent drama. It fascinates me how these inanimate objects can convey such profound motion within their stillness.
