Original artwork description:

One of my painting as Romain Héjé, when i walk through the garden to the old barn where i paint on sundays when every one left.
Could it be: descriptive abstraction ? or abstract real things ? The same process occurs in the making as for my "portrait" paintings, beguinning with as "model" a photography. A photography as a source of matters, matters to be turn into painted forms. Then it is a portrait or this enigmatic looking kind of blue, pink, and green turmoil. The likeness with the model is not the point there, but rather in a strange kind of way, "emptiness", my deadlines here are "emptiness". Do we get looking at he painting the feeling that there is space beetween the objects represented here? The feeling that one is there and another kind of mile away from it. In my view this rendering of emptiness is enough for a work of art.
