Artwork description:

This screen print was made during the time when I stared to experiment with the medium of screen print a bit further. The process of creating became as a deconstructive study of a screen print technique itself. One of the element of the process is squeezing a paint through very delicate, tightly stretched silk screen. In that way a sign is printed on a surface. In further experimentations with the medium I screen-printed geometrical shapes directly onto the clear 16mm film leader using various acrylic colours, so that rhythmically composed patterns coalesce to form a single flow- an experimental screen printed film. At the later stage of the process I tried to capture the single stills of the film and translate their qualities onto the intimate surface of the paper.
The geometrical shapes from my previous screen prints gave way to more organic, elusive forms. Tactile qualities, gained by transferring paint onto the celluloid through the mesh of the silk-screen allude to warp and weft of the textile.
This small and colorful limited edition print is a hand pulled screen print. Printed with acrylic paints on Southbank Smooth paper. It has 4 different layers of transparent colors (CMYK).
For shipment will be carefully packaged rolled in a tube.
It looks best while framed.

For all of my works on paper, I am happy to offer combined shipping. Up to 3 works can be shipped together for the cost of one!
