Lisa Braun creates an abstract picture and at the same time an imaginary landscape from broad brushstrokes and spatula paint, from transparent glazes and relief-like paint crusts, from sprayed and run paint. In it, as in a fairy tale, a wolf appears; like a mythical creature, it too is immersed in the shades of grey and brown of its surroundings. The strong colours incorporated into the background, such as orange, yellow and blue, shine all the more brightly.
