If you meander in the Swedish woodlands you will certainly come across these typical hand built stone walls. They are like arteries crisscrossing the Swedish landscape. Built by farmers to delineate their territory some of them date back as far as the iron age. A beautiful cultural heritage the mossy walls are protected by law. This scene is from Orust and the wall is found in the forest behind the cottage where I live.
