This fantasy scene has been constructed from vintage magazine pages, the starry galaxy is the backdrop to a large ornate frame with a magnified star formation. Two stylish ladies from the 50's navigate the hilly landscape in heels, appearing to natter flower to flower and carefully tip toe towards the oncoming butterflies.

I was aiming for a graceful, feminine and balanced collage that would feel like a surreal dream and make you feel like hitting the snooze button for an extra hour to dream on.

All pieces were adhered with archival glue on acid free paper before being further mounted onto thick off white A3 paper. Frame ready or the margin allows for a mount if you wish to make a bigger impact.
