Ever since I saw the documentary "Note by Note, the making of Steinway L1037", I have been fascinated by the craftsmanship that goes into making their pianos. I'll call this painting a tribute to their work.
STEINWAY is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. The Steinway text and harp logo were printed on matte photo paper and laminated to the back of the 4 mil mylar that I always paint on. The piano and remaining background were painted on the face of the mylar and the mounted on 1 inch thick foamboard.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
