Sitting on the deck at the KIngfisher cafe,
Overlooking the illuminating lake,
I’m in paradise as I listen to the cuckoo,
Set in the Wyle valley,
Where it’s a beautiful haven for wildlife.

Original impressionist watercolour on bockingford acid free watercolour paper 190 gsm 90 lb.
Using a reflective light technique and wetting the paper first to apply delicate back washes. I used Chinese brushes to create the detail.
