This painting is a reflection of my fascination with industrial landscapes and their raw beauty. The towering cranes, painted in rusty reds against soft shades of blue and grey, symbolize both strength and fragility—monuments of human effort that stand against the passage of time.

I was inspired by the port of Gdańsk, a place where steel meets water, and where the echoes of industrial history resonate deeply. The blurred textures and reflective elements at the bottom of the composition hint at the water’s surface, adding a sense of motion and impermanence to the scene.

The expressive brushstrokes and bold contrasts speak to the energy of creation and destruction, capturing the soul of a place that thrives on transformation.
