Artwork description:

The huge stone heads of the gods on the western terrace of Mount Nemrut near Adiyaman in the Taurus Mountains of central Turkey. Originally taken as part of a commission during to promote cultural tours in eastern Turkey in late September 2001 for Anatolian Sky Holidays, I was fortunate to be able to seize the moment and favourable evening lighting conditions between two coach loads of visitors. Mount Nemrut or Nemrut Dag is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which features the Mausoleum of King Antiochus I of the Commagene Empire in the first century BC.

Printed by Kernow Fine Art in Cornwall, each print comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered on the front in pencil together with the image title. Prints will be sent in a tube for safe and easy shipping via a tracked service from La Poste.
