I painted this series of landscapes on elongated rectangular pieces of paper. I took subjects from sunrises, sunsets with birds, the Bosphorus bridge, the industrial panorama of construction, the sea in the evening. I paid a lot of attention to the sky and clouds, because the sky is considered the eyes of the painting.

All these places are filled with the magical atmosphere of nature, when you stand and see such a natural state, your spirit freezes and for a few minutes you look with bated breath and comprehend the moment here and now alone with the pond and the universe.

Watercolors allowed me to convey this mood in these panoramic landscapes. After all, the properties of watercolor paints are striking in their spontaneity, when at an unexpected moment the paint flows, as if the watercolor paints for you, and the transparency of watercolor gives the effect of illumination from a white sheet, because when we see color in a watercolor painting, it is thanks to the white sheet from which the light is refracted and shows us the color of the paints, which is why it is necessary to paint watercolor on raw or in 2-3 layers and no more.
