Original artwork description:

My latest artwork is a 3-dimensional painting on a wooden box of a woman and lovers dreaming by starlight.
Open the box to see bright sunlight!

The exterior is finely painted in my usual palette of Burnt Sienna and Phthalo Blue.
On the lid of the box the woman is asleep, her hand raised; it emanates pearls of starlight.
On the front of the box the lovers are asleep with pearls of starlight at their fingertips. Their bodies travel around the box, their feet meeting with a red flower between them.

Inside the box I wanted to have a strong contrast and have used an unusual colour for my work: Azo yellow, a rich deep shade. Also, I have deliberately kept some turquoise here and there on the inside edges of the box lid.
I have collaged some pieces of japanese paper to form petals and painted a suggestion of flowers.

Signed and titled underneath the box.
Packed carefully and sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.
