Abstract oil painting with real gold leaf inlays. This painting was painted during a couple of afternoons in October after reading an article about Viruses and Bacteria in New Scientist Magazine!!
I frequently read science and nature magazines, and this painting has been influenced by the fantastic up close imagery of living cells, dividing, growing, merging, and feeding on their environment. It reminded me of the stars and galaxy we live in, just like the bacteria and viruses in our body, we are like small cells living in the body of our universe.
