Artwork description:

A beautiful bunch of star lilies in a vintage vase on my kitchen table, which is covered in a brightly patterned cloth. This is a reduction linocut and was completed using several rainbow rolls , stencils and whole days of cutting!

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino and water washable ink on Japanese Similie paper
