Original artwork description:

One of a series of semi abstract paintings of this popular crag, probably the busiest in the Derbyshire Peak District. I was particularly inspired by the lines and patterns in the rocks. Wash and ink executed in a very loose manner to catch the imposing presence and strength of the crags.

Materials used:

ink, watercolour paper, mount board.
