'Stack'

An original and totally unique landscape oil painting of a sea stack rock formation illuminated with golden late afternoon sunlight and surrounded by crashing waves and a deep blue-green sea. Painted with artist's quality oil paint on primed board using a palette knife.

Measuring 10cm x 10cm (3.9” x 3.9”) this miniature artwork is part of my 10² series, intended to make fine art oil paintings accessible whilst distilling the atmosphere and beauty of a large scale artwork into a painting that would fit into the smallest of spaces.

This artwork is supplied framed, with a certificate of authenticity and is initialled in the lower right corner.

Each painting is designed to be appreciated at both near and far distances; across a room, a viewer will be drawn to the artwork by the intense colour which is a feature of each painting in this series, close up, more details will emerge as textures and subtle colour shifts can be admired.
