An impressionistic Scottish mountain landscape painting of Stac Pollaidh on the west coast highlands of Scotland.
In this small study I have painted it in muted autumnal colours of ochre and brown, to represent the autumn color of the surrounding bracken and heather hillside with the rugged rocky peak of Stac Pollaidh surrounded in a swirling mist.
In this muted atmospheric painting I have tried to convey the peace and tranquility of this dramatic place with it ever changing weather in a semi abstract impressionist style on a lightly textured canvas.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white hand painted wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
PLEASE NOTE the white frame may differ from the frame shown depending on availability.
