Pollock House is a stately home in the south of Glasgow, Scotland, once owned by the Maxwell family but now maintained by the Scottish National Trust. The grounds are beautifully managed and extensive. This particular watercolour of the stable block was one of two I painted (the other one of the house is sold). It is an Autumnal scene although the main object of the painting is the weathered stonework of the buildings.
Painted on 300gsm watercolour paper. This artwork is not framed.
