Original artwork description:

A view of St Monans which is a coastal fishing village in The East Neuk Of Fife, Scotland. The buildings tightly hug the landscape in this very open, exposed position. I wanted to capture the great sense of space there, and the very big sky. I chose to contrast the big expansive spaces with the intricate, weather beaten winter hedge in the foreground with its tense, twisting growth. In the distance are the misty waters of the Firth Of Forth, and The Bass Rock.
