This hand made linocut print depicts the view of St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall from The Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens. It features a variety of tropical plants such as crocosmia, echium pininanas, aeoniums, palms, agapanthus, ferns and hydrangeas which all can be found growing in the sub tropical climate of Cornwall. In the distance sailing boats can be seen in Mount’s Bay and a solitary seagull is is flying over.

Printed in teal green

A Linocut Print is a relief printing technique where lino is cut, inked and rolled to create an inverse relief print, generating the image as seen.
