A realistic acrylic painting , showing a corner of St Ives harbour.

This is painted with a high degree of accuracy, in a decorative and semi impressionistic style. If you are a fan of this beautiful place you will recognise the area I have painted. As an artist I find St Ives fascinating, especially when the tide is half in ( or half out! ) showing the harbour as a swirling mix of areas of sand and shallow water. The textures and reflections are so interesting. The colours change rapidly with the light.

This is painted on paper, on thick board. It is then framed with a white mount. It will need a wooden frame to complete it. It takes a standard 16 x 20 inch frame.
