Original artwork description:

This Squirrel Monkey sat but 2 feet from me and I managed to watch and observe his movements. They seem both anxious and relaxed at the same time. Small monkeys around 30 cm high. I try and capture that experience of watching him in this painting.

The canvas comes rolled in glycine paper and should be stretched to wooden board. This is Poly cotton canvas which is light but very very strong for the tight woven fabric. This is the reason why I like it so much. It is inexpensive to get a framer to restretch a rolled canvas. Around $100 for this canvas. The shipping is several times cheaper rolled that’s why I only send it this way.
