Original artwork description:

Yellow is the colour of spring and there is plenty of it in Springtime in the Eifel region which straddles Germany, Belgian and Luxembourg. I was inspired by the freshness of the vibrant colours emphasized by the wide open landscape and so I set up my easel on this perfect Spring day close to the village of Winterspelt. Distant villages and farm buildings can be seen among undulating low mountains and valleys - a typical Eifel landscape. I love the naturalness of this place and I was even startled by a pine martin that appeared from under the hedgerow as I painted!

“Springtime in the Eifel” is a unique, original watercolour, painted en plein air on location near Winterspelt on the German-Belgian border on high quality watercolour paper using Windsor and Newton paints. It comes mounted in a warm white mount to fit a standard frame size of 70x70cm and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the artist.
