Artwork description:

I was looking for a feeling of spring foliage emerging from barren trees, warmly backlit. All the trunks and branches were cut on linoleum, and the leaves were carved from cork sheeting. The cork gives an irregular coverage like new leaves, combined with a transparent ink. The grasses were added later using a cut stencil and soft brayer instead of a linoleum plate.

This artwork is hand printed from linoleum blocks (plates) and cork sheets on archival printmaking paper, using oil-based inks. The linoleum and blocks and cork sheets are hand cut. Each separate color requires its own block or sheet. 7 colors. Maximum image size: 10.5" x 25" Overall paper size: 11" x 30"

This edition is limited to 22 copies, and each print is numbered, titled and signed by the artist. Each print is considered an original, and can vary slightly from the others. 2020

My print(s) are carefully packaged between multiple sheets of cardboard, matboard and padding, insured to the value of the artwork, and shipped via USPS.
