English moorland waterfall scene of England's moors and fells
An impressionistic countryside view of a tranquil and peaceful moorland scene, inspired by a calm spring day with a clear blue sky on the wild moors of the British Isles. Reminiscent of the Yorkshire, Dales, Pennine Moors or the Lake District or even Dartmoor or the Scottish Borders.
In this atmospheric scene I have tried to convey the peace and tranquillity beside a small beck or stream with its small waterfalls winding its way through the moor, with the sound of skylarks, curlews and grouse.
Painted in blue and muted autumnal colours

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 22.5" x 22.5" (58 x 58cm) canvas on board, framed in a modern contemporary square profile white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.
