Original artwork description:

The air, already slightly released by the frost and softened before the thaw that broke out in January, enveloped the area. Although it was still chilly, everything in the landscape involuntarily blew spring. The bend of the Tesha, usually sleeping under the ice at this time, was not covered with an wormwood. Every now and then, at the edge of the ice, the top of either a muskrat or some other coastal creature would peek out and dive back into the water. Warm winter... This is a view of one of the bends of the Tesha, near the village of Vodovatovo. I like to paint here. After drying, I added the staffages.

The painting was painted from life with high-quality oil paints, on Italian linen canvas Lanificio Prato.
