Original artwork description:

This plein air study was painted in the Carpathians, at a time when snow still lingered on the mountain peaks while the valleys below were already turning green with early spring grass. The path leads uphill to a cross — one of those often placed at crossroads or high points as both a landmark and a spiritual symbol. This place reminded me of the human journey — uneven, with broken fences and winding roads, yet always pointing upward. I wanted to capture that quiet moment of reflection and inner searching, when standing among the mountains somehow puts everything into perspective.
