Original artwork description:

I recently spent a family long weekend on a houseboat near Amsterdam. We borrowed bikes and cycled the short distance to Zaanse Schans, famous for wind powered sawmills and cheese factories amongst other small industries there are also pretty wooden houses with gardens that looked beautiful in the sunlight. This is what inspired me for this painting.
