Original artwork description:

This abstract mixed media flower study is part of a series of works that are inspired by the flowers I see in gardens, door steps and window ledges during springtime on my daily walks. These small studies inform my larger works on canvas.
It has lots of texture and has been created using layers that have been scratched back to reveal the layers below and to create a distressed look to the artwork. The sides are painted white so no need for framing. The artwork has been signed on the back and has been left without fixings on the back as I think it works best hung on two level screws, flat to the wall .
