Impressionistic landscape painting.
This painting is very much inspired by my enviroment, particularly spring skies with the clear blues and gentle clouds they bring.
I love paint, and colour combinations are very important to me. I want to use texture, shape, colour, and tone to make a rich paint surface with lots of interest. I have used Golden acrylics as they have such lovely qualities and are highly pigmented, including some florescent paint mixed with regular colours. This give a bright edge to the painting.
This 90x120 canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
