Original artwork description:

Painted en plein air (outside on location) at Catalina State Park in Tucson, Arizona, trying to capture the fleeting light and glow of late afternoon on the face of the rocks.

Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen on 1/16" MDF archival art panel, the back of the panel finished with melamine that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
The painting is unframed, and it requires a frame to be displayed on the wall. It will easily fit in a standard (USA) 9"x12" frame.
