"Spring Dandelion Joy" is a small landscape painting by Mary Kemp.
I know dandelions get a bad press, but amassed like this they are a joy! The intensity of the colour quite took my breath away.
To paint this I used thick oil paint on a gessoed board.
I've left it unframed but it will slip seamlessly into a 6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) photo frame. Or you could just prop it up on a shelf in a contemporary sort of way!
