Painted Plein Air style, on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. Features a mix of spring flowers including bright red poppies, bright pink peonies, burgundy and cream irises, and light purple alliums. The background is created from textured brushstrokes of casein paint in deep green. The flowers are painted with thickly textured oil paint, which enhances their shapes. Painted in oil over casein on canvas. The canvas is ready to hang with painted sides, but may also be framed if desired.
