Original artwork description:

Spring calls is a 16x40x1.5 inches wide panoramic oil on canvas painting of a spring landscape with magpies. It is a semi abstract painting showing two magpies flying over a lake and the marshy wildflower meadows that surround it. The main colours are pink and green and it was inspired by a walk I took around Bewl Water lake in East Sussex last summer. There is a marshy part of the lake where pink flowers bloom and lots of green moss and reeds grow. This is my impression of that day.
