Spring Blossoms 2016/1 by Marjory Sime is a textured oil on MDF board. This painting consists of thick and juicy oils layered on to create a very tangible painting of spring blossoms. The canvas is mounted on a Mahogany wood frame that has been painted white to create the overall effect.

The subject being spring blossoms and is not meant as a direct depiction of an actual blossom but rather a representation that creates the feeling and essence of that time of year.

It is important to note that the numbering refers to the placement in the series and is not a repeat of another painting. Each work in the series is unique.
