Spring Blossom is a subject I frequently revisit, pink is such a vibrant addition to the landscape which is never as blousy - even in summer when reds blues and yellows take over it all begins with that rush of impertinent blooming on gnarly trees, which will ultimately morph to lush fruit in autumn.
Small, mounted but unframed, these little mixed media paintings have been made to inform bigger pieces but work as little collectable items to kick start or add to your growing collection of original art work.
Frequently I will use a mixed palette starting with acrylic or water colour sometimes adding texture paste, sand, glue or paper finishing with oil paint and spray gloss to fix the image.
