Unframed original acrylic landscape on canvas 20x22inches.
This is the field at the back of my rural studio. It is a typical East Anglian view and although obviously very familiar to me, it's one I never tire of. The painting was done earlier this year when the crops were really ripe, and their colour gave a real glow to the surrounding countryside.
I have painted this particular track quite a few times now, but I feel this painting really captures its essence.
‘Spreading Fields’ is sold unframed, but can be hung direct without a frame if preferred.
