Spoon loop #784
A wooden spoon rests in the arch of a filigree walnut wood covered with gold leaf. The spoon is hand carved from bolted ash wood and 15 cm long. The walnut arch is sawn. A tiny metal disc serves as a plate for mounting. My signature is burned onto the base plate. This object is a homage to the wooden spoon that has developed deeper meaning in many cultures over thousands of years. Both parts are finely ground and treated with natural hard wax oil. Total weight 87 grams
