Original artwork description:

A pen and ink drawing exploring the texture and shading of olive tree trunks. Ancient, gnarled tree bark and trunks facinate me, with the unexpected shapes that reveal themselves as the drawing progresses. This particular drawing suggested to me a pumpkin-like face, so it became more of a 'spooky' style. I never know what will appear but when something does I tend to exagerate it more with the light and dark of the cross hatching pen marks. The entire work is suggested through the use of cross-hatching and different thicknesses of pen. Watercolour, ink and aluminium leaf are then added to suggest leaves without detracting from the detail of the trunk.

This will be sent in a tube, cost includes insurance.
Shipping cost includes packaging costs and insurance and for international buyers includes duty and tax. This does not apply to EU countries which do not pay tax.
