Original artwork description:

The painting "Split" is painted with oils on acm (/dibond) panel.

Mathilde, a housemate I used to live with, modeled for me. Her white dress and style of blonde hair gave her an angelic appearance. I wanted a strong contrast between her hair and skin tones and the background. A warm imprimatura (transparant layer of color) is still shining through in some parts, especially in the background.

The painting is not framed and not ready to hang, but it is very easy to frame the painting because of the thickness of the panel (3mm). I'd be happy to give instructions if you want to frame the painting yourself.

The painting will be securely packed for transport in a sturdy cardboard box. If import duties apply they need to be paid by the buyer.
