Original artwork description:

one of my favorite subjects, fish, in a big splash.

Bright blue acrylic ink is my base here, the color is laid on liquid and then dispersed with a straw to give the wonderful runs and #tentacles", when the base is dry I add the fish in harmonious tones with an added copper watercolour for warmth. Details are added in ink, colored pencil and pencil to complete the piece.
I have signed on the front and added the year and title to the back of the artwork.

"Splash" measures 50 cm x 70 cm (20" x 27") and slips right into a standard frame.
I have painted on a piece of bright white heavy weight watercolour paper with some texture.
