“Spirit on the Water” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 60cm x 50cm (24 x 20 inches) on 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas.
Painted after spending time watching the sea in Hastings on a beautiful Autumn day when there were light fluffy clouds in the sky and clean white surf on the sea. It’s titled from This Place by Joni Mitchell
It's painted in shades of blue with grey and white. The paint has a slight glossy sheen and is textured in parts.
The painting continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
