I've been studying and photographing a colony of Rooks that inhabit a grove of Chestnut and Oak trees near my home. They mate for life, and always return to the same nesting spot year after year to rebuild abandoned nests. They're incredibly graceful in flight, and this is one of a series of photomontage that I've put together, to try and convey how they compliment their surrounding woodland. Limoited edition of five archival gicleé prints.
Epson fine art inks and Hahnemühle Photorag 308gsm fine art paper.
