Original artwork description:

I love to read about nature spirit legends and myths. This painting is inspired by the water Elemental, a mermaid-like creature of the aquatic underworld. Using my favorite green and turquoise hues this painting uses a combination of watercolor washes and stippling along with some details in gouache, colored pencil and acrylic pen to create an ethereal and other-worldly underwater world.
