To my great joy, in July 2023, this painting participated in the international competition "Victory"
The picture shows my reflection on what should be a victory for Ukraine in the war.
The central figure is a Ukrainian motanka, who takes on the role of the goddess of justice. She stands tall and strong, holding a scale in her hands, symbolizing fairness and equality. Her eyes are covered with a blindfold, indicating her impartiality and her determination to seek out what is right.

The motanka is adorned with a lush Ukrainian wreath of bright flowers, from which more flowers grow, representing the possibility for a brighter and more prosperous future for Ukraine. The flowers signify the continuation of life, even after the hardships of war, and the flourishing of Ukrainian society, culture, and tradition.

The painting is made in the Ukrainian style of Petrykivka, which adds a unique cultural touch to the piece. The intricate and colourful decorative elements captivate the viewer's attention and invite them to take a closer look at the scene.
