I am from Ukraine, Kyiv is my hometown. This is artwork that I painted not out of a sense of beauty, but out of pain. My country is at war and this spring I missed the chestnut blossoms.

The paper is stretched on a stretcher, the edges of the artwork are painted. The painting is ready to hang and does not need a frame.

50% of the sale of this work will go to a humanitarian fund.

My work here is a single copy of my unique and original handiwork. It is made on special, high-quality 100% cotton paper designed for watercolor from the world’s best manufacturers and has a density of 600 grams/meter.
