Special Arne woodland, Dorset
Not far from the RSPB carpark,
The trail starts,
The ancient oaks are so beautiful,
Marsh grasses and farmland,
Spending a magical time sunset to dusk.

Words and experience of a wonderful nature reserve that I visit often throughout the year.
Original impressionist watercolour painting on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425gsm 200lb.
I used a wet on wet back washes and then while the paper is wet I dashed clouds over the sunset colours. I then applied using a scrubbing technique for the trees - woodland many different shades using a four colour process. Arne nature reserve has always been a haven for nature and I always hope to see the sika deer.
